Oxoboxo Lofts
Located in Uncasville, CT and bordered by the Thames River, the adaptive reuse of Oxoboxo Lofts transformed a historic turn of the century cotton and textile mill into 72 market rate, workforce, and affordable apartments.

The project was awarded federal and state historic tax credits and low income housing tax credits to support the restoration and conversion of the former mill. Extensive building improvements include new windows, roofs and HVAC systems. Additionally, the iconic smokestack that acts as a beacon for the Thames River was restored and remain a distinctive landmark in the community. All rehabilitation was completed under the guidelines of the CT State Historic Preservation Office and the Department of the Interior. Oxoboxo boasts a variety of amenities, including a community clubhouse, fitness center, basketball court, playground, and on site management and resident services.
