This 25 unit supportive housing project was sponsored by HOME, Inc. and Columbus House of New Haven.  The design is meant to provide a transition between the commercial and residential zones of this portion of the State Street area.  Residential forms and detailing are intended to provide a home-like atmosphere for the previously homeless residents.  Funding for the shelter is provided by the HUD Shelter Plus Care

Program and tax  credits administered by CT, DOH and CHFA.
