Our firm is assisting the Town of Sherman, CT in renovating the Senior Center, located in the historic 1886 Sherman Old Town Hall. Project goals are to meet the current needs of the facility and to restore historic characteristics of the exterior. The scope of work includes historically sensitive upgrades to the mechanical systems, handicapped accessibility throughout the entire building including a new entry and bathrooms, raising the ceiling in the main meeting room to reveal a hidden ceiling medallion, and restoring the façade and front door to the original appearance based on historic photographs. |
