This home, located in the remote hills of eastern Connecticut, was designed as a country retreat for an urban family.  The strong geometric shapes satisfy the owner’s desire for a sense of order within the chaos of life.  The use of clear wood siding and primary accent colors create an intentional contrast with the natural tones of the changing seasons in the surrounding woods.  Except for the two bedrooms, the living space in this house is entirely open to the interior of the pyramid structure which is crowned by a glass skylight.
